If you ask the local people of El Dorado Springs what makes it unique you get a variation of answers.
Frankly, we love the community and we think it's a great place to live! Founded in 1881, El Dorado Springs lies in the Missouri Ozarks approximately eighteen miles East of Nevada, Missouri. The town became reknown for it's spring water which was said to have healing properties. People came from miles around and even the Osage Indians brought their sick to the spring for healing. El Dorado Springs is a popular recreation spot due to the many lakes that surround the area. Local businesses are the cornerstone of the town and we'd like to feature them here.
